Little Orleans
We went back to Little Orleans Cabin on the C&O Canal to see the spring wildflowers. It was the perfect kind of cabin trip, with rain at night to make us really glad we weren't in a tent, but a beautiful sunny day on Saturday.
Saxifrage was one of the flowers we don't see a lot around here, but it was growing in (relative) abundance on the rocks.
The frogs were out making quite a racket, and we saw several red-spotted newts.
Matt also caught a four-pound catfish in the Potomac, but we'll spare you the gory pictures.
